Costs are token counts multiplied by each model's list price per 1M tokens, from the same provider pricing data the catalog serves. Pasted text is tokenized exactly for OpenAI-family models and estimated with per-family character ratios otherwise; estimated counts carry a tilde. Chat in idapt is metered per token with transparent, usage-based pricing at the prices shown in the app.
