How to migrate
- 1
Export your Claude data
In claude.ai: Settings → Privacy → Export data. Anthropic emails you a ZIP with conversations.json and projects.json.
- 2
Upload the ZIP in idapt
Settings → Import → Claude. Conversations, project docs, and project agents stream in with live progress.
- 3
Meet your project agents
Each Claude Project with instructions is now an agent (with its own memory). Its docs are in Drive; attach them to any chat.
Or run the models on your own computer
Private AI runs open models (Llama, Qwen, Gemma, Mistral, Phi and more) on hardware you own, through the idapt daemon: free, never rate-limited, and no third-party AI provider ever sees the prompt. They sit beside the 200+ cloud models in the same chat.
FAQ
Do my Claude Projects survive?
Yes. Each project becomes a Drive folder with its text docs, and projects with instructions additionally become agents whose system prompt is those instructions.
Can I run the import twice?
Yes. Conversations dedupe by their Claude id and project agents dedupe by name, so a re-upload only adds what's new.
Do I keep using Claude models?
Yes. idapt routes to Claude models alongside 200+ others, through one key.
