Zed with idapt

Point Zed's open_router provider at idapt's base URL and declare the models you want in the picker.

  1. 1

    Point it at idapt

    json
    // ~/.config/zed/settings.json
    {
      "language_models": {
        "open_router": {
          "api_url": "https://idapt.app/api/openrouter/v1",
          "available_models": [
            {
              "name": "anthropic/claude-sonnet-5",
              "display_name": "Claude Sonnet 5 (idapt)",
              "max_tokens": 200000,
              "max_output_tokens": 64000,
              "supports_tools": true,
              "supports_images": true
            }
          ]
        }
      }
    }

    The provider id is open_router. Zed sends OPENROUTER_API_KEY from the environment (or the value set in the provider UI) as the bearer token, so export OPENROUTER_API_KEY="$IDAPT_API_KEY".
