How you authenticate
API key
- Copy your client_id and secret from the Plaid dashboard.
- Plaid takes both in the JSON body of every call, so reference the secret as ${credential:NAME} in the body rather than a header.

Worth knowing
- Credentials go in the request BODY (client_id, secret), which is unusual and trips up header-based tooling.
- Sandbox and development use sandbox.plaid.com and development.plaid.com.
- An access_token is per linked Item and is obtained through Link, not the API.
