Worth knowing

  • The X-Snowflake-Authorization-Token-Type header must say KEYPAIR_JWT or OAUTH; a bare bearer without it 401s.
  • Statements can execute asynchronously and return a statementHandle to poll.
  • Warehouse, database and schema must be set in the request or the statement fails with an unhelpful error.
