How you authenticate
Username and password
- Copy your Account SID and Auth Token from the Twilio console.
- The Account SID is the Basic username and the Auth Token is the password.

Worth knowing
- Request bodies are application/x-www-form-urlencoded, NOT JSON. A JSON body is silently ignored.
- The Account SID appears both as the Basic username and in the URL path.
- Phone numbers must be E.164 (+441234567890) or the request 400s.
