  2. Create an API token. The Basic username is `[email protected]/token` and the password is the token.

Worth knowing

  • The base URL is per-account (`acme.zendesk.com`), so a rule written against zendesk.com covers only your own subdomain.
  • The Basic username must carry the literal `/token` suffix when using an API token.
