One report shape for the whole team: outcomes, blockers with asks, checkable commitments.

A single-file skill template that fixes the weekly report format: outcome verbs, blockers that carry asks, and next-week commitments phrased checkably.

# Weekly report format Apply when drafting any weekly status or progress report. ## Structure 1. Headline: the week in one sentence a skimming reader keeps. 2. Progress: 3-5 bullets, each led by an outcome verb (shipped, closed, unblocked, decided). Attach a number where one exists. 3. Blocked: each blocker names what unblocks it and contains a specific ask. A blocker without an ask gets rewritten or cut. 4. Next week: 2-3 commitments phrased so next week's report can say done or not done. 5. FYI: one line max for context that needs no action. ## Rules - Activity is not progress: "worked on X" becomes what changed about X, or moves to FYI. - No "various improvements", no "ongoing". - If the week was genuinely stuck, the report says so and the headline is the blocker.
Set it up
- 1
Copy the skill body
Adjust section names to your team's vocabulary; keep the blocker-carries-an-ask rule, it does the unblocking.
- 2
Create the skill
Add it in the workspace Skills page; any agent asked for a weekly report uses this shape.
- 3
Pair with the standup automation
The daily task standup and weekly metrics automations produce raw material this format compiles cleanly.
