Notes are stronger together. Link them with wikilinks, follow the backlinks that grow on their own, and stand back to see the whole Knowledge Base as a graph πΈοΈ
Type [[in a note and pick a note by its title to link to
it. Because titles are unique across the whole Knowledge Base, a [[wikilink]] resolves no matter which folder either note
lives in, so you can reorganize freely without breaking a link.
Link to a title that does not exist yet, then create that note later. The wikilink connects itself as soon as the note appears.
Every note lists its backlinks: the other notes that link to it. You never maintain these by hand. Link one note to another and the backlink shows up on the far side automatically, so you can trace a connection in both directions.
Add #tags anywhere in a note to group notes by theme
across folders. A tag cuts across your folder structure, so the same
note can sit in one folder and still belong to several themes.
Open the graph view to see the Knowledge Base as a force-directed map: each note is a dot and each link is a line between them. Densely linked notes pull into clusters, loosely connected ones drift to the edges, and unlinked notes stand alone, so gaps and hubs are easy to spot. Click a dot to jump straight to that note.
