Shift the tone without losing the message
Extracting the load-bearing content first makes tone a layer instead of a rewrite, which is how professional editors handle register changes. Producing a restrained second variant compensates for the model's tendency to caricature the requested tone.

The prompt
Rewrite the text below in a different tone. The facts, commitments, and requests must survive exactly; only the register changes.
Text: {{text}}
Target tone: {{tone}}
Method:
1. First list the load-bearing content: every fact, number, promise, and ask in the original. This list is your contract.
2. Rewrite in the target tone. Adjust sentence length, word formality, directness, and warmth; do not add new claims to fill the new register.
3. Check the rewrite against the contract list and state: nothing lost, nothing added.
Then output a second, more restrained variant, because tone shifts overshoot on the first try. Label both.Run in idaptOpens a new chat with the prompt prefilled. Nothing sends until you press send.
