Weekly Drive tidy automation
Friday afternoon: loose files proposed into folders, duplicates flagged, nothing moved without a plan.

A cron automation recipe that reviews your Drive weekly: proposes filing for loose files, flags duplicates and stale drafts, and writes a tidy plan.
Schedule: Fridays at 17:00

Review the root of my Drive and /Inbox. For every loose file: propose a destination folder from my existing structure (create-new-folder proposals need a reason). Flag: likely duplicates (same content, different names), drafts untouched 30+ days, and files whose names are meaningless (IMG_2481, Untitled). Write the plan to /Ops/tidy-YYYY-MM-DD.md as a checklist: move X to Y, rename A to B, review-or-delete list. Do NOT move or delete anything; the plan is for my Monday review. Keep it under 25 items; prioritize by how much each fix helps future search.
Set it up
- 1
Copy the instructions
Point it at the folders that actually collect mess; root plus an /Inbox convention covers most setups.
- 2
Create the automation
Friday evening timing means the plan waits for Monday you, who is better at decisions than Friday you.
- 3
Execute the plan in chat
Monday, open the plan and tell an agent 'apply items 1-8'; you approve the moves, it does the clicking.
