Keep only items with substance (announcements, filings, launches, published research; skip commentary about commentary). Compare against yesterday's brief in /Briefs and drop anything already covered unless it developed. Write /Briefs/news-YYYY-MM-DD.md: per item a one-line takeaway, two sentences of context, and the source link. Order by relevance to my work, not recency. Cap at 7 items; if fewer than 3 items have substance, say it was a quiet day rather than padding.
