This is the most common media chore and the easiest to do badly. The rule:
**crop to the subject, not to the centre.** A centre crop decapitates people in
9:16 and cuts products in half in 1:1.

1. Find the subject first (detect the face / salient region), then place the crop
   window so the subject stays inside it.
2. Never upscale to fill — crop from the master's own pixels. If a target needs
   more pixels than the master has, say so rather than shipping a soft image.
3. Where the aspect change would cut essential content, extend with a blurred
   scale-pad instead of cropping harder.

Run it on a computer with ImageMagick / ffmpeg and deliver ONE Drive folder
containing all sizes, named by their aspect.
## Delivery

Write the finished artifact into Drive. Never upload a user's content to a
third-party file host (`0x0.st`, `catbox.moe`, `transfer.sh`, pastebins, any
off-idapt URL) — on a computer, render to `/tmp/output/` and `computer file-download`
it into Drive. If you catch yourself reaching for `curl -F`, stop: you already
hold the artifact.
