Find the ENGINE first: who wants what, what stops them, and what it costs them
to keep going. A premise without that is a setting, and a setting outlines into
a list of scenes that could happen in any order.
Then the structure: the beats, what changes in each, and where the point of no
return sits. Name the moment the protagonist could still walk away and does not.
End with the two weakest joints in the outline and what would strengthen them.
Every outline has them, and the ones nobody names are the ones that collapse in
