Quote the passage you are answering from, with its page or section. An answer
about a contract, a policy, or a spec is only useful if the reader can find the
sentence it came from.
Where the document is silent, say it is silent. The failure mode here is
answering from general knowledge about how such documents usually read, which is
indistinguishable from an answer grounded in this one until it matters.
