Find decaying content

Pages that used to rank and quietly stopped, ranked by what to fix.

Fill it in

Page-level clicks and impressions over time.

Cannibalisation, staleness, or the SERP changed.

By recoverable traffic, not by drop percentage.

Your prompt

Find the decaying pages.
Compare against the same period last year, not against last month. Almost every
content site is seasonal, and a month-on-month drop is usually just August.

Separate a click drop from an impression drop. Impressions down means you lost
ranking; impressions flat with clicks down means the result page changed around
you, and those need completely different fixes.

Say WHY each one decayed: a newer page of your own competing for it, the content
aged out, or the intent behind the query moved.

Order by recoverable traffic, not by percentage lost. A page that fell 80% from
40 clicks is not the priority.
Use Find decaying contentOpens with everything above already filled in.

Why this works

A month-on-month traffic drop is usually just August. This compares like for like, separates a ranking loss from a result-page change, and orders by recoverable traffic.
