Assess a regulation's impact
What a new rule requires of you specifically, and by when.
Fill it in
Which one.
What you do, where, and to whom.
What applies when.
Your prompt
Assess what [the regulation] means for us. [your us] Work out whether it applies at all, and to which part. Most regulation applies by role, scale or activity, and the answer for a company is usually "to this product yes, to that one no". A blanket assessment produces work nobody needed. Quote the operative provisions rather than summarising the summaries. Secondary coverage of new regulation is unreliable in a consistent direction: it is written to be alarming. Give the dates and phases, and what has to be true by each. Separate what requires a change from what requires a document. They cost very different amounts. This is an assessment, not legal advice, and it should say so.

Why this works
Secondary coverage of new regulation is unreliable in a consistent direction: it is written to be alarming. This quotes the operative provisions, works out which part of the business it actually applies to, and separates what needs a change from what needs a document.
